DAY #7: Let me catch you up on the past few days. I had a pretty tough day on day #5. The night before, I was pulled out of a dead sleep by a horrific dream in the middle of the night. For me, sleep and creativity are inextricably connected. I struggled hard on day #5.
With my self-imposed 30 day rough draft deadline, every day is incredibly important. Losing a day, is not really an option. I pushed through, but it was slow going.
I texted a group of friends and had them pray. Even with prayer, I was awakened by another disturbing dream the next night. Really? I never have dreams like that! .
Day # 6 was the most productive writing day thus far! I had such a breakthrough!💥 🔥🙏🏽🔥
Oh and today… Day #7 my chapter outline of the book came together. I have greater direction now. A road map.
Up until today, I’ve been writing chapters without introductions, conclusions or transitions. I was just getting the main ideas down in writing. It is a rough draft after all.
If you get stuck. Write on what you want to write on in the project. Write on what’s inspiring you in the moment. At this stage, you don’t have to write linear. Just write. It’s amazing how it will shoelace together as you continue the project!
All my writers or writers-to-be! 📚 We can do this! Set a goal and go for it! I believe in you, your friends believe in you and so does your Creator! You got this! 🖊
