When you’re eating ice cream with John Gray and you ask for a bite… (Smile.)
He’s been the topic of a lot of national conversation as of late. Like John’s ice cream cone, humans are layered. No human does everything right. I know I don’t. As a leader, I believe every leader needs accountability. It makes us better? Accountability drives us towards wholeness and actions congruent with our best self – our child-of-God self.
With that being said, and now on a personal note, I’d like to share a little bit about John. Besides making me laugh until I almost wet myself 🤣(seriously), he’s always been a good friend to me. When I was wrestling, in a dark-night-of-the-soul season, he was there for me. He listened to me. He didn’t judge me. He didn’t drop me…well, like an 🍦. No, he listened. He invested. He did not walk on the other side of the road. He stopped. He treated me like a neighbor – no, like a brother. I can honestly say that my life has been better, because John’s been in it. ⚡️✊🏽⚡️
Did I mention that his TV show 📺 The Book of John Gray is on OWN right now? I think it’s viewed best with ice cream and a friend. 🍨
